Another Doodle Card

Here's another Mother's Day card I made with Doodle This. I'm really glad I'm making way on my Mother's Day projects! Things always creep up at the last minute, so it never hurts to be organized and prepared!

Supplies:
Stamps: Doodle This, Amuse
CS: Rose Red, So Saffon, Chocolate Chip, Petals & Paisleys DS
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Regal Rose Marker, Ivory Organza Ribbon, Chocolate Grosgrain, White EP, Pewter Hodgepodge

Here's a treat I received in the mail yesterday! A few weeks ago, I was the winner of blog candy on Kyla Maestas' blog! She sent me this beautiful card and it totally made my day! I love how she colored in the white on the PP with markers to give the paper a whole new look!

Doodle This card

I got some time to stamp this weekend and it felt great! I decided to start making Mother's Day cards since it's right around the corner. Besides my own Mom, I am lucky to have many other motherly figures in my life that I like to recognize on Mother's Day. I whipped out my Doodle This set, since I haven't been able to use it as much as I have been wanting to since I got it. For this card, here are the supplies I used:

Stamps: Doodle This, Circle of Friendship
Paper: Petals & Paisleys DS Paper
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: SU Markers: Regal Rose, So Saffron, Old Olive; Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Circle Punches

On the inside of the card, I stamped "Happy Mother's Day," with the "Happy Mother's Day" stamp from Amuse.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

I'm Back Again!

My apologies for being MIA for awhile! I just got so caught up in life and haven't been able to stamp! Well, I was so excited I got my first BRAK cards from the Bloggers RAK group!

This one's from Wendy L., aka SunnyWL on SCS. Her blog is
http://www.sunnywl.blogspot.com/

This one is from Michelle. Her blog is http://blog.MichelleScrapbooking.com

Thank you both so much! I love your cards!

Now's here's something I made. I decorated a composition notebook for my SIL's friend.

I used the Polka Dots & Petals PP from the Spring Mini to cover the notebook.

Stamps: Letterpress, Newsprint, Paisley
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Black, So Saffron
Paper: Regal Rose, So Saffrom, Black, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: Circle Punches, Scallop Scissors, Prima Flowers, Joanns Brads, Rose, Light Pink, & Celery Grosgrain

I had so much fun making this! I like to decorate things, but often don't because I don't know what to do with the items after I decorate them. It was great to have a purpose to stamp this project! Thanks so much for checking in!

Doodle This

I got the Doodle This set as my reward set for Sell-A-Bration and finally got around to inking it up last night! When I first saw this set, I wasn't really that excited about it, but alas I am now the owner of this set! I had to have it after seeing all of the beautiful samples on Splitcoast - isn't that story ever too familiar??? Well, this is what I came up with for this set. I realized the color combo I used is one of my favorites when I looked back an saw a lot of my other projects with this combo. There's something about the fun-ness of the pixie pink and tempting turquoise against the boldness of the black and white that I am attracted to.

Oh, and a great surprise for me, I won the blog candy on Kyla Maestas' blog! I love her work and I won one of her beautiful cards! Thanks, Kyla!

I'm Back!

I didn't mean to disappear on you guys last week! I didn't realize that I would have *NO* time for stamping! Well, I finally got to making something over the weekend and it's this notebook for my Sister-in-Law who is coming to visit for her Spring Break this coming weekend! She's not a big stamper, but likes it when I make her fun things like this!

Supplies:
Stamps: Headline Alphabet, Be Happy, Everyday Flexible Phrases, Polka Dots & Paisleys, Newsprint Alphabet
Ink: Passion Pink, Pixie Pink, Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron
CS: Tempting Turquoise, Pixie Pink, So Saffron
Paper: Petals & Paisleys DS Paper
Accessories: Chipboard, Daisy Punch, Joann's brads, ric rac from Michaels

Here's another cool thing I learned this weekend. How to make a *really* inexpensive earring holder. It's just one of those plastic things with holes in it (I don't know what they're called) for needlework! I bought it a Michaels for $0.39 and clipped it to a pant hanger and Voila! Now I have an earring holder! Just hang your earrings through the holes. This picture is really bad, but if you click on it, you can see a larger version and have a better idea of what it looks like.

So, thanks for checking and I hope to have more things to post this week!
