Notecard Holder Instructions

As promised, here are the instructions on how to make the notecard holder I posted yesterday. I know my photos are really hard to see so just follow these steps.

1. Start with an 8.5" x 11" sheet of cardstock.
2. On the 11" side, score at 3", 3.5", 8", & 8.5"
3. On the 8.5" side, score at 3/4", 1 1/4", 7 1/4", & 7 3/4"
4. Trim each corners up to the 3.5" score line and down to the 8" score line.
6. Where the 2 black dots are in the photo, you can punch holes and string ribbon through to make the purse handles.
5. Fold score lines and assemble. You can use velcro to close the notecard holder.

I hope you have fun making this and have a great weekend!

Happy Birthday Spinner Card

Here's a fun and simple spinner card I made. I used the Happy Everything stamp set and Three For You Punch Box. I did this card at a workshop and it was a really great card for a group to do. My guests really enjoyed the learning how to make a spinner card and it was simple enough to do in terms of supplies for a group. Plus, I used my punches for the spinning part and that really simplified things while keeping things interesting.

Here are the supplies I used:
Stamp Sets: Happy Everything, Three For You
CS: Almost Amethyst, Barely Banana, Rose Red, Certainly Celery
Ink: Certainly Celery, Almost Amethyst, Basic Black
Accessories: Ticket Corner Punch, Word Window, Scallop Punch, Nesting Circle Punches, Rose Red Brads

Asian Wedding Card

As a follow up to my last card, here's another one I made with the same layout. This time, the card is for a friend who is getting married. I use this layout a lot when I make cards to give to people for occasions because it's really simple and it's easy for me to pick a color combo to match their theme. I matched the invite of the wedding for this card. I got the stamp from See Saw Graphics, a company that sells a lot of Asian Stamps and embossed the image in gold on the red circle. They have a lot of really cute stamps!

Here's what I used:

Stamps: See Saw Graphics
Paper: SU White Glossy CS, Gold CS, Real Red
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Gold Cord, Cuttlebug, Corner Rounder Punch, Gold EP, Giga & Mega Circle Scallop Punches

30

I made this card for my friend's 30th Birthday party. The colors for her party were red, black and white, so I matched them on her card. I used my Cuttlebug with this one and my Stampin' Up and Uchida Mega punches. After I put the piece of red through the Cuttlebug, I sponged Whisper White Kraft on it to bring out the swirls. Up close, it has a nice velvety effect.

So, here are the supplies I used for this card:

Stamp Sets: Typeset Alphabet Lower
CS: Real Red, Basic Black, Glossy White
Ink: Whisper White Craft, Basic Black
Accessories: Wide Black Organza, Mega Circle Scallop Punch, SU Nesting Circle Punches Paper Piercer, White Gel Pen

This one is pretty self explanatory so let me just share what supplies I used:

Fabulous Flower Card

Here's another one of my favorite stamp sets from the Fall-Winter Collection! I wasn't sure what to think about the big flower, when I first saw it, but of course, I saw samples from SCS and the Stampin' Up convention and now I am the proud owner of this set!

For this card, I stamped 3 flowers and cut them out all at different sizes so I could layer them. I used Rose Red Craft ink and embossed it with Irridescent Ice EP. It's kinda hard to see in the photo though. Then I topped it off with a half bead from Paper Pretties, which I completely in love with too!

Here are the supplies I used:

Stamp Sets: Fabulous Flowers, Polka Dots & Paisley, Happy Everything
Cardstock: Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Rose Red Craft, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Pureply Pomegranate Ribbon, Pretties Kit, Oval Punch, Irridescent Ice EP

Pallette 'O Prints

I got my new Pallette O Prints sampler pack this week and made this card with it. I love the colors SU decided to put in the pack! I used the Bodacious Bouquet and Warmest Regards stamps sets. The big flower was stamped in Rose Red Craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. The other flowers were stamped with Classic Ink. I used the Giga Scallopped Circle punch along with my Creative Memories Circle Cutters. The cardstock I used was Chocolate Chip. I also used the Paper Piercer, Soft Subtle Brads and White Gel Pen. I really enjoy this sampler pack and see a lot of potential with it!

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!
